Hello everyone, it's been a while — this is Shotaro. I hope you've all been well.
I haven't posted a video in quite some time, so some of you may have been wondering where I disappeared to.
Starting today, I'm going to begin sharing my thoughts in writing, and I'll also be easing back into social media little by little.
On what I've been up to
So what was I doing while I wasn't posting videos? Mostly, taking things in.
My style up until now has mostly been output-driven, whether through SNS, Japanese education, that kind of thing.
But somewhere in the back of my mind, I had this vague feeling that my inner drawers were running a little empty.
On top of that, we're living through a time of incredibly rapid change. Society, technology, the world itself — everything is shifting at a remarkable pace.
So I spent this time reading, watching, and thinking. Things like philosophy, geopolitics, behavioral economics, how society is changing, how we'll work and live in the future — all the books and videos I'd been curious about but never got around to.
AI in particular was something I hadn't really kept up with for the past year or two. I hadn't been following how far the cutting edge had actually come.
I felt I seriously needed to catch up, so I started trying out AI tools that caught my interest and using Claude Code to vibe-code all kinds of websites and small apps.
It turned out to be way more fun than I expected, and before I knew it, I was completely hooked.
And after all that time taking things in, I started wanting to put something out again. I found I had a lot I wanted to share — so here I am, starting again.
Going Forward
I want this platform to be a place where I can put out the things I've been thinking about and the things I want to share.
Whenever I publish something new, I'll let you know through my Instagram stories, so I'd be glad if you'd check in from time to time.
